Russia’s Far East Development Minister Alexander Galushka, has said, on Thursday Sept 1, just prior to the opening of the EEF, that it is possible that more than two hundred agreements for 1.7 trillion rubles ($26.05 bln) might be signed during the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF 2016)'

2 Sept 2016: The Russian President met with potential investors for the Far Eastern Federal district. Specific concerns regarding practicalities were discussed, such as permissions required for operation in particular territories, or methods for streamlining customs  procedures.

A number of agreements were due to be signed on September 1, 2016, the day before the official opening of the second Eastern Economic Forum. Most of these were between the Far East Development Corporation - as one of the parties - and, of these, most were of the category: Agreement to open a facility at Vladivostok Free Port.
Denis Tikhonov, of the corporation was the main representative scheduled to sign the agreements on behalf of Far East Development Corporation.

Russia and International: The Eastern Economic Forum opened in Vladivostok and ran for several days in September, 2016. It is the second forum, and is to take place in Vladivostok every year by Presidential decree of Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, President of the Russian Federation.
