Many world leaders have congratulated Vladimir Putin on victory, based on the results of the ballot counts in the 2018 Russian Presidential Elections. These have included (TASS) the Chinese President Xi Jinping, Cuban leader Raul Castro, Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro, Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev, and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

With 99.79% percent of the ballots counted, the incumbent Russian President, Vladimir Putin, has 76.67% of the vote, reports TASS, citing the preliminary data of the Central Election Commission.

According to TASS, the CEC (Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation) has recently reported as part of its preliminary data that vote counting shows: 98.59% of the ballots counted.
