This year, 2017, is to see many celebrations of the Russian revolution of 1917. The Bolshevik revolution changed Russian history forever - the overthrow of the Tsarist regime, and finally, following the revolution, the establishment of the first leader of the USSR: Vladimir Ilyich Lenin.

This year is the 100th anniversary of the Russian revolution.

In 2017, Russia celebrates a timeline that commemorates 1917, a year that changed Russia forever.

The October Revolution - otherwise known as the Russian revolution. 1917:

There were two major events regarding the overthrow of the Tsarist regime in 1917, one in February, and one in October. The most well-known is the October revolution.

It changed Russian history forever, moving it from a Tsarist-controlled country to a totally different structure.
